SLASH's Bandmates TODD KERNS, FRANK SIDORIS Talk To DUNLOP TV (Video)
July 30, 2012While in Portland getting to interview guitar legend Slash, DunlopTV's Bryan Kehoe was also able to hang out backstage with a couple of the hard-working guys who help make up Slash's new touring band, MYLES KENNEDY and THE CONSPIRATORS.
Todd Kerns (who is the bassist on the new album "Apocalyptic Love") and rhythm guitarist Frank Sidoris walk Dunlop TV through their rigs as well as relate their love of great gear, touring with Slash, and even evoke the spirit of Neil Diamond.
Slash scored his first-ever No. 1 hit at rock radio as a solo artist with "You're A Lie", the first single from his second solo effort, "Apocalyptic Love". The record came out on May 22 and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard album chart a week later, selling 38,000 copies in its first week of release.
Unlike Slash's solo debut, which featured different vocalists on each track and a number of guest musicians, Slash has recorded all of the new CD with MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS.
Slash and his band recently completed a month-long tour of Europe.
